Quite happily, our friend chose one of these villas three years ago for us, and that was our most accurate shot so far. The simple comfort, silence and great, personal space combined with the incredible helpfulness of our hosts, Richard and Nam, made us fall in love with this place, and for the fourth year in a row, we have to choose it for your vacation. When a place makes you feel like your home, it is the best. Beauty can be seen in the pictures, but feelings can only get in the place. Thank you, Richard and Nam!

We returned recently from a 2 week stay here. We were really happy with the whole experience. The photos on google do not do this place justice. The pool, gardens and area in general is well maintained- nothing was ever to much trouble for Richard and his wife who were always happy to help with taxis, restaurant recommendations, day trips and even advice on using the hospital (Miss 5 got an ear infection due to being in the pool so much!, nothing to do with the villa). The whole trip was fantastic and that’s not an easy ask given we had 11 of us between two villas and young children to keep happy. It helped that the upstairs living space had a great selection of tv and movies for when swimming and sunbathing was too much, the only area we didn’t use as much as we wanted were the roof terraces and that was only because of the small children’s needs. The beach is a 2 minute walk down a lovely maintained path past other villas. Would definitely recommend and go back in the future.

This is the fourth time we have visited Banyan villas and we found the place wonderfully relaxing once again It is a paradise of peace and quiet, in a beautiful setting with your own pool, with well maintained private gardens plus use of a larger pool, right next to the sea and some small friendly Thai bars within a short walk along the beach. The villas are large, fully equipped with all mod-cons and are extremely comfortable, especially the beds! This time we were a group of adults, but we have stayed with children and the accommodation suits both groups ideally, as they are so private. Nam and Richard are impeccable hosts, with plenty of local knowledge and ideas for trips out. Taxi service is available, as is a local guide. We look forward to returning and would thoroughly recommend this private paradise to you!

Staying in this villa was an extraordinary experience. The house was by far the best in the area, and the host, Richard, was incredibly helpful. He took us on a few errands and looked after us every day, addressing any needs we had promptly. Within walking distance of the villa, there are some of the best restaurants on the island, especially the one next door where we enjoyed the best pad Thai. There is also a massage place within walking distance. The hot tub on the terrace was exceptional, offering stunning views, and the pool was cleaned daily. As a flight attendant who travels the world, I can confidently say that I had the best vacation in that villa. Hopefully, I will return one day. The villa was cleaned twice a week, which was very helpful, and the kitchen was fully equipped with a blender, juicer, and other essentials. The bedroom was incredibly comfortable, and the air conditioning worked well. Additionally, there was a full library with plenty of books in various languages. The house was far from the crowds but also close to everything. The only downside I would mention is the relatively high taxi prices, similar to those in Europe. However, if you choose to rent a scooter or a car, you will be fine. We stayed there for a month, and not a single day passed where we felt bored. It was truly heartbreaking to leave such a wonderful place.
