We are Nam & Richard Haigh, owners of Banyan Villas and the managers of Banyan Managed Villas, a family business on the North coast of Koh Samui. We are lucky to operate Banyan villas on a beach side location with some of the best gardens on the North coast.Richard: I was originally from the UK I am now a Thai citizen too. Previously I worked for 30 years in the motor industry. Now retired, my focus is on making Banyan Villas a holiday destination renowned for a personal touch.
My wife Nam and I established Banyan Villas in 2004, and we commenced construction of our first villas that same year. The first villas opened for business in January 2006. We now jointly run the business and are hands-on in welcoming guests and ensuring they enjoy their stay.
We have a small staff who prepare the villas prior to guest arrival and provide housekeeping services during our guests’ stay. Also, on site we have a maintenance team that checks the villas prior to guests’ arrival and provides support 24/7 should there be any technical issues.
